Income tax return is a statement of income and tax there on, it is a statement to be furnished by a taxpayer to the Income-tax Department in prescribed form. According to the amendment in the Finance Act 2016, you can file your belated IT Returns anytime on or before 1 year from the end of the relevant Assessment Year (AY). Example, for the AY 2016-17, a belated return can be filed on or before 31 March 2018. However, with the amendment vide Finance Act 2016, from AY 2017-18 belated IT belated returns should be filed before the end of the relevant AY. For instance, for the AY 2018-19, a belated return can only be filed on or before 31 March 2019. Hence only one Year ITR can be filled online in one go.

Now the processing of return file will be through your Aadhaar Number where you can link it with your PAN and get rid of sending ITR-V to CPC, Bangalore. In these cases, there is no need to send the signed copy of ITR V to CPC, Bangalore. In the new process, a one-time password (OTP) will be generated after uploading your return. With the help of this OTP, you can verify your ITR filed and there will be no need to send Acknowledgement to Bangalore.

Go to the website www.incometaxindiaefilling.gov.in. 2. After login go to "MY ACCOUNT" 3. again go to "View e-Filled Return" & select the income tax return 4. Select the Assesment year for which refund is required & Submit the refund Reissue request.
If you made any mistake in your original return, you can revised your return number of times. It is from the last year, time limit to revise the return is only in relevant assesment year. After the expiry of original deadline to file Income tax return were not allowed to revise. e.g. if you have filled the income tax return for F.Y. 2017-18 you have time limit to revised the return is march 2019.
